Diversity Leadership white paper published

I’ve been looking forward to sharing the findings of our Diversity Leadership research, so I’m delighted that we have now published some of our key findings in the form of a White Paper in conjunction with Cambridge Judge Business School Wo+men’s Leadership Centre.

Our mixed methods study looked at nearly a decade of global business school quantitative performance data, followed by in-depth qualitative content analyses of DEI websites and semi-structured interviews. The best practices we identified from analysis of the world’s leading business schools are applicable across academia and the corporate world.

Diversity in its various forms is a core element of the inclusive innovation mindset; you must welcome, embrace and fully understand your intended audience in order to make their inclusion meaningful. This is true for all innovation - from diversity programmes to product development and long-term strategy.

Working with with some of the world’s leading business schools from the US and the UK, we were learned the value of:

  • Constructively involving stakeholders in the design and execution of systems and processes that affect them;

  • Listening to those stakeholders to pay attention to, and validate, their lived experiences; and,

  • Sponsorship and engagement from the senior leadership team for every inclusive innovation strategy.

You can read the White Paper here or contact us to learn more about the research project and how our findings might benefit you and your organisation.
